When we go on holiday or at home, neither we nor our companions are immune to a health problem. That’s why it’s always a good idea to bring a first aid kit for your pets.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of what the emergency kit may contains :
- Scissors
- Tweezers
- Tick-pull
- Bandages
- Sterile gloves
- Survival coverage
- Compresses
- Dressings
- Tape
- Disinfectant wipes
Of course, as mentioned earlier, this list is not exhaustive, and a relief kit may contain many other elements. It is therefore recommended to take advice from your veterinarian to find out what to contain.
You should also be aware that training on animal first aid exists. To do the right thing, and avoid the gestures to be outlawed, it is a good idea to follow one of these trainings. Indeed, having an emergency kit is not enough, you must also know how to use it!
Finally, the animal rescue kit is not the only belonging our companions need, so you can find our articles detailing travel items for cats, dogs, exotic pets.
