Visit the animal during the crossing
- The animal is placed in a kennel (by reservation) or in the vehicle.
- The passenger on the right has two visits accompanied by a crew member
- The schedules:
- Tuesday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Sunday and Monday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
To England
Health conditions
- The passenger must be informed of the Pet Travel Scheme, and EU regulations.
- The animal must hold a European passport.
- The animal is identified via a microchip.
- The animal must have been vaccinated at least 21 days before the departure date and after the microchip identification.
- The animal was treated for worms and ticks between 120 and 24 hours before arrival in Ireland.
Terms and conditions
- Service: Hoek van Holland – Harwich
- Animals are not accepted on the passenger deck.
- The animal must be placed in a container on the deck reserved for cars or remain in the vehicle.

One way is € 15 per animal.
To Ireland

- Specific cabins are available and compulsory for passengers traveling with animals (4 berth exterior cabin, pets allowed).
- Places are limited.
- The animal must remain in the cabin for the entire crossing.
- A deck area for dog walking is available.
- Pets are not allowed in public areas.
To Sweden: Rostock – Trelleborg
Health conditions
- Cats and dogs must have a passport.
- The passenger must notify the check-in staff that they are traveling with an animal.
Terms and conditions
- Pets are not accepted in shops and restaurants.
- The passenger remains responsible for the animal.
- Passengers cannot access the vehicles during the crossing.
- Some ferries:
- Dogs are accepted on deck if:
- They go straight to the bridge
- They are kept on a leash
- They are systematically supported
- Their master collects the droppings
- Dogs are accepted on deck if:
- M / S Trelleborg:
- Allowed only on the left side of the C-view and in the aisle that leads to the shops.
- M / S Skåne:
- It is possible to borrow a bowl of water.
- There is a space reserved for dogs with boxes and individual cushions.
To Sweden: Frederikshavn – Gothenburg, Grenaa – Halmstad

- The passenger remains responsible for the animal.
- Passengers cannot access the vehicles during the crossing.
- Places are limited.
- When traveling in the vehicle, the passenger must report this at check-in.
- Stena Danica:
- The animal must remain in the vehicle or join the specific area on deck 9.
- June, July and August: animals cannot stay in vehicles.
- Stena Jutlandica:
- The animal must remain in the vehicle or join the specific area on deck 7.
- Stena Nautica:
- The animal must remain in the vehicle or join the specific area on deck 7.
- Stena Germanica and Stena Scandinavica:
- If these ships are in service in high season on the Frederiskhavn – Gothenburg route, animals are not allowed.
- Animals must be reported 45 minutes before departure.
To Sweden: Gdynia – Karlskrona
Health conditions
- Cats and dogs must have a passport.
- Passengers should be aware of Swedish regulations.
Terms and conditions
- Places are limited.
- Specific cabins are available and compulsory for passengers traveling with animals (interior cabin for 2 or 4 people with a maximum of 3 animals).
- The dog must be kept on a leash and wear its muzzle when boarding and during the crossing.
- Cats, hamsters, ferrets and other small animals travel in a container.
- The passenger must appear at check-in at least 60 minutes before departure.
- Passengers will receive a collar when they collect their boarding pass to identify the animal.
