Animals are accepted in the cabin by United Airlines.

Animals are not accepted in the hold by United Airlines.

• Letter from a licensed healthcare professional
• In the event of an animal weighing more than 65 pounds, the company will determine if it is fit for flight

Service animals trained to perform tasks

• Minimum age: 4 months
• Ex: Assistance for people with visual impairments, deafness or epilepsy, and people with reduced mobility.

Health conditions

• Minimum age: 16 weeks
• The passenger must inform himself of the regulations of the countries of departure, transit, and arrival.
• Travel to the continental United States:
  • The passenger must have a health certificate and proof of vaccination against rabies.
    • Owner’s name, phone number and address
    • Information relating to the identification of the animal, including breed, sex, age, color and spots
    • The date of vaccination and the name of the vaccine administered;
    • The date the vaccine expires. If no expiration date is indicated, vaccination must have been completed within 12 months of arrival in the United States.
    • After the rabies vaccine, it is not possible to travel within 30 days of vaccination

Plus place seat.
Pets are not allowed in premium cabins on board Boeing 757, 767, 777 and 787 United Economy customers on board a Boeing 757-200 must sit in a window seat.
