- The passenger will have the right to pre-boarding.
- The animal must behave well at all times.
- The passenger must make arrangements for the hygiene of the animal.
- The animal is not subject to the obligation to contain or wear a muzzle.
- The passenger must inform the company in advance. This allows the company to prepare appropriate assistance, and to reserve a second seat free of charge at the foot of which the animal can be placed. (This does not allow you to obtain a second baggage allowance)
- Necessary documents, to bring on the trip:
- Medical certificate attesting to the need to travel with a service animal.
- Any official document (certificate, identification card, etc.) confirming that the animal has received assistance animal training.
Sanitary conditions
- The company recommends on the advice of your veterinarian to administer a sedative.
- Dogs and cats 4 months and older: Identified by a microchip or by a tattoo
- The animal must not show any sign of aggression.
- The animal must not have a strong foul odor (ducks, goats …).
- The animal must not be infected, poisonous (except bees)
- The animal must not be pregnant except in the case of a veterinary certificate attesting that the animal is not likely to give birth during transport, and that this will not harm the animal.
- The animal must not have given birth during the 48 hours preceding the departure.
- These species need an inspection and certificate from the Rural Development Service authorizing the trip and a closed container not allowing them to leave during the trip:
- Birds of the Psittacidae family (parakeets, lovebirds …), Anatidae family (swans) and of the colombidae family (pigeons, turtledoves, doves …): necessary for departure from Tahiti to all the islands.
- Bees: necessary from Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine, Raivavae and Tubuai to the other islands
- Micro wasps: an administrative certificate is required for transport
