Service animals
- Free transport in the cabin.
- The animal must wear a harness.
- The airline must be contacted at least 48 hours before the flight departs.
- Flights from Ireland to the United States are subject to approval from the Irish Ministry of Agriculture.
- Some breeds of dog, which we detail below, are prohibited from transport on Aer Lingus flights. These dog breeds are also forbidden as service dogs.
